As an Auto Mechanic your responsibilities include a wide range of automotive repairs:

  • Review TSB's and other service recommendations and translate to customer needs.
  • Honestly assess vehicles and build a detailed estimate of necessary repairs.
  • Communicate cause and correction for customer concerns regarding their vehicle.
  • Address any concerns from customers and interface with them on their vehicle as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism.
  • Keep shop in clean, working order.
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections in service to our customers utilizing our digital e-inspection tool.
  • Master MFG level diagnostic tools and subscriptions provided by ETF Ventures Inc.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work experience
  • servicing vehicles instead of the degree).
  • Proven experience as auto mechanic
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
  • Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
  • Excellent physical conditions
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Preferred:
Continue training to maintain current A.S.E. status and to meet with
technology and fleet changes as they occur.

Physical requirements:
Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, bend, kneel,
crouch, squat, climb, and tolerate excess noise levels and car exhaust.
Vision requirements: close, distance and color vision, depth perception
and ability to adjust focus.
Compensation: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
