Job Summary

 Ready to take the next step in your automotive career? Our locally-owned Meineke Car Care Center is seeking a full-time General Manager/Service Writer to lead and motivate our talented team. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday half days.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience, strong automotive knowledge, motivation, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You’ll oversee daily operations, coach your team, track shop performance, and drive growth with integrity. We offer competitive base pay plus commission—when the shop succeeds, so do you!

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shop operations and ensure a smooth workflow with exceptional customer service
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff while fostering a positive, results-driven work environment
  • Monitor productivity, quality, inventory, and compliance with industry regulations
  • Address customer concerns quickly and professionally to maintain satisfaction goals
  • Track financial performance 
  • Support marketing initiatives and community engagement to grow visibility
  • Work in service advisor role when needed
Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Master Technician or Level A automotive technician 
  •  2+ years in a management role 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and best practices
  • Experience with shop management software (Tekmetric preferred, not required)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
